Medical Advisory Board

The education and training at the Center is multidisciplinary - residents and surgeons in general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopaedics, and other specialties attend courses and use the facilities. To reflect this audience, the Center invited key medical professionals to participate on a Medical Advisory Board because of their expertise and interest in education and training.

The purpose of the Medical Advisory Board is to guide the Center’s evolution of services; assist in the on-going education of residents and allied medical personnel; and act as a ‘think-tank’ to develop educational courses offered at the Center. The Board will be involved in planning, needs assessment, and evaluating educational events held at the Center.
